Healthy volunteers are participants who do not have a disease or condition, or related conditions or symptoms

An interventional clinical study is where participants are assigned to receive one or more interventions (or no intervention) so that researchers can evaluate the effects of the interventions on biomedical or health-related outcomes.

An observational clinical study is where participants identified as belonging to study groups are assessed for biomedical or health outcomes.

Searching Both is inclusive of interventional and observational studies.

You can narrow your results further by searching each trial’s description for a specific word. Keep in mind that this will search the full description. We recommend carefully reviewing each trial information to ensure that it is an appropriate fit for you.

  • High Dose Ruxolitinib and Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation in Myelofibrosis Patients With Splenomegaly

To learn if giving ruxolitinib and busulfan before a stem cell transplant can help to reduce spleen size and help the transplant to succeed.

  • Identification of Factors Associated With Treatment Response in Patients With Polycythemia Vera, Essential Thrombocythemia, and Pre-myelofibrosis.

First-line treatment for patients with polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, and pre-myelofibrosis is based on hydroxyurea or pegylated interferon. The objective of treatment is to prevent thrombotic complications and leukemic transformation. Despite overall good response rates, some patients do not respond to treatment and others lose their response over time. Both situations are associated with worse survival and there are to date no clear predictive factors for response although the existence of additional mutations seems unfavorable. In this exploratory study, we hypothesize that biological factors at diagnosis are...

  • IIT PH1 KDS-1001 in Patients With CML

This open label, non-randomized, prospective phase I study is designed to evaluate if the addition of natural killer cell therapy (KDS-1001) to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) for chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) patients with persistent or recurrent molecular residual disease (MRD) after at least one year of TKI therapy will allow patients to achieve RT-PCR negativity (MRD negative). This may have implications for future TKI cessation studies.

  • Intensive Conditioning With Thiotepa Combined With Bu/Flu/Ara-C in Allo-HSCT for Myeloid Malignancies With Extramedullary Involvement

This study is a multicenter, single-arm, prospective phase II clinical trial that evaluates the efficacy and safety of an intensive conditioning regimen with thiotepa combined with busulfan, fludarabine, and cytarabine for allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in the treatment of myeloid malignancies with extramedullary involvement. The conditioning regimen includes thiotepa at a dose of 5mg/kg/d from d -9 to d -8 (2 days), fludarabine at 30mg/m2/d from d -7 to d -3 (5 days), cytarabine at 1-1.5g/m2/d from d -7 to d -3 (5 days), and busulfan at 3.2mg/kg/d from d -5 to d -3 (3 days). Conditioning begins on day -9, and ...

  • Intestinal Microbiota Transplant Prior to Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant (MAST) Trial

The goal of this clinical trial is to test the ability to restore gut microbiota to healthier levels in patients with blood cancers scheduled to have stem cell transplant. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Tolerability and acceptability of intestinal microbiota transplantation (IMT) versus placebo (as assessed via patient perspective questionnaires - Changes in gut microbiome diversity across all timepoints - Markers of general health, infective/microbiological and haematological outcomes including, days of fever, admission to intensive care unit, survival, non-relapsed mortality, and...

  • In Vitro Drug Sensitivity Testing of Fresh Human Samples

Hematological malignancies gather several various pathologies included myeloproliferative disorders (as acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or chronic myeloid leukemia (CML)) and lymphoproliferative disorders (as chronic lymphoid leukemia (CLL), non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and multiple myeloma (MM)) . Over the last decade, the treatments have evolved significantly but the overall survival remains limited, especially for the AML and MM patients. There's an ongoing imperative to continue in-vitro and in-vivo studies to better evaluate the anti-cancer drugs sensitivity and therefore improving the response to treatments and open new fields of...
